We are strong advocates of helping protect your customer rights and our 100 day Returns Policy aligns with the Australian Consumer Law Customer Guarantee. When you buy an item from Beautiful Robes it ensures it is of acceptable quality, lasting, free from defects, looks acceptable and does all the things you expect of homewares, sleepwear, kimonos or a dressing gown.
We’re have 12 years’ experience helping our lovely diverse customer base and our 5 start reviews attest to us being dedicated to fitting you perfectly.
We want your Beautiful Robes piece to be just right! If you find that it's not perfect, you're welcome to return any item purchased from beautiful-robes.com for:
a) any other size or item currently available on beautiful-robes.com (we will happily assist with sizing), or
b) a Store Credit (valid for 3 years), or
c) a Gift Card (valid for 3 years)
The Process
To make a return, please click on our RETURNS PORTAL .
To access it you will need your Order number and email address. Please check your email (also check Junk mail) or find it on the outside of the satchel it came in. It is an 8 digit code - and looks like 104724AU.
Items returned need to be unworn, unironed, unwashed, undamaged, unaltered and in a new, re-sellable condition (i.e. no stains, pet hair etc), folded carefully to avoid being excessively crushed and in original packaging. You may try it on, best tried with belt.
Please return Marketing/ Promotion message postcard and return hygienically in the plastic sleeve it came in.
Beautiful Robes inspect each garment prior to approving returns. We reserve the right to refuse a return.
Gift Cards, Store Credit and Exchanges will be made on the basis of the price paid by the purchaser at the time of the original purchase price.
If there is an uneven return price, you will be either provided with an invoice to pay, or will receive a Store Credit via email.
Special Notes
We do not cover associated shipping costs or custom/tax fees as part of an exchange or refund, unless the item is faulty or we sent the incorrect item.
For US customers, we collect Duties and Taxes from you at purchase so we can provide a seamless DDP (Duties Paid) delivery service. If for whatever reason a refund were to be provided, we would not refund the amount paid to US Customs authorities on your behalf. Evidence of this would be provided on a case by case basis.
There are no refunds on any change of mind or delay to shipping which is outside of our control.
Gift wrapping is non-refundable. Shipping is non-refundable.
Losses or damages incurred during return shipping are the purchaser’s responsibility, we therefore recommend using a trackable service.
No returns if seal has been broken on any homewares/ decor items. Any custom orders are non-refundable.
Please allow a minimum of 10 business days for returns to be processed from the date we receive your parcel (not from when you send it). It is the purchaser’s responsibility to track a returning item.

I've been searching for ages for a deep blue kimono to replace one from Kyoto that was given to me decades ago that I loved so much that I wore it out. I found it's replacement here. I just feel special wearing this and as much as I adore the silk kimonos it is magic to put this on and throw the belt around and know that I won't be immodest after wandering around for a while.
After searching in stores for a full length cotton robe, I finally found exactly what I was looking for through Beautiful Robes. The fabric offers modesty while at the same time being light weight for summer conditions. The gorgeous design reflects authentic Japanese styling while at the same time feeling unique. The perfect luxury to treat myself.

I haven't seen anything of this sort of quality in the UK. It is a beautifully classic kimono style robe, made from a soft sumptuous cotton fabric with a traditional Japanese print in such rich colours…my daughter just beams with delight when she wears it.

I have bought a couple of the long cotton kimonos previously. There are comfortable, wash and wear well and very pretty, as is the new one. However, the smallest size is too long and I have to have it shortened, I'm 5'2'' tall. Unaltered I trip on the hem. It would be good if a smaller, a shorter, size were available, then it gets 5 stars.
