Beautiful Robes

Beautiful Robes has been a fantastic discovery for me. I've now ordered three gorgeous silk kimono robes from BR, and I am overjoyed with the beauty and quality of these garments. They are exactly what I was looking for and could not find anywhere else. And Alison has been fantastic to work with - I am truly grateful. Not only has she made sure that these precious garments arrive safely and swiftly, with excellent tracking; she has also been wonderfully helpful in sharing information about the beautiful robes themselves. I hope I will be buying more things from Beautiful Robes for a long time to come.

This kimono is an absolute pleasure to wear. At 6’6”, finding garments with generous length and proper proportion is rare, but this piece drapes beautifully and fits with effortless elegance. The fabric feels exquisitely soft and impeccably clean against the skin, with a refined hand that speaks to quality. The pattern is striking yet tasteful, and the stitching is tight, precise, and clearly crafted with care. A truly well‑made garment—I will absolutely be buying another.

I was delighted to receive this silk robe with its blooming flower design on an ivory background. The fabric is lovely and the design is graceful. I also purchased the version with a black background, and it is fascinating how the same print looks different on the two backgrounds. In this ivory version, the cranes are very subtle but the rose-colored plum blossoms are sumptuous. I love these robes and am very grateful to Beautiful Robes for offering them

Just huge fans!!

This black short kimono robe made by Sakurai Shoji is a joy to have. The fabric is fine, moderately light weight silk satin and the crane and plum blossom print is beautiful, wrapping elegantly around the body. It comes without a size but fits fine on me, size medium, with room to spare. I am delighted to have it.

The fabric is high quality cotton, and the style, plus fabric design make for a very classy garment. Im very happy with it.

These are truly beautiful robes and as described but what impressed me most was the quality. The material, details and construction of the robes is all extremely high quality and well worth the price. I would highly recommend.

Plum & Warbler Long Cotton Kimono

My son loves Japanese anime and absolutely loved the quality and traditional styling of this robe. Everythign about it was high quality.

Bought for Christmas and arrived in 2 days! Cotton is lovely and light. The print is really beautiful and the colours are quite sexy ;)

This kimono is so pretty and the fabric breathes so it ideal for wearing around in the summer. The kimono washes well and it is pefect to wear for a lazy day or changing into after a hard day at work.

Got the matching pines and cranes kimonos for my boyfriend and I, and they are gorgeous, the black was the perfect choice, the colours shine so well. The fabric is really good quality, it's very soft for cotton and washing plus light steaming makes them even softer. Ordering this to Canada all the way from Australia was so worth it. For reference, I'm 5ft4 and the short kimono goes to my mid-calves, it's the perfect size and length for me, surprisingly not too large either.

I bought this kimono for my 17 year old son. We live in a very humid climate so this robe is perfect for our hot summers. The fabric is soft and breathable - he loves it!
